Sean Lewis, Elizabethtown Market President

Sean is an Elizabethown native. He attendend Western Kentucky University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree. Sean began his career in the title insurance industry in 2000 with Progressive Land Title as an Account Executive/Closer. He continued his title insurance career with First American Title Insurance Company after their purchase of Progressive Land Title. In 2008, Sean joined Foreman Watson Land Title, LLC as an Area Manager building and developing two new offices for the firm in Elizabethtown and Bowling Green while also overseeing the daily operations of the two offices. Sean takes pride in providing the best in customer service and working hard to ensure our clients success. Sean resides in Cecilia with his wife, Leslie, and their son, Cooper. He and his family are members of First Christian Church. In his spare time, Sean likes to spend time with his family and friends, travel, and is an avid golfer.


J.T. Popham, Operations Manager

J.T. Popham is a Central Kentucky native with over a decade of experience in the title industry. Though his client base is now concentrated in Lexington and the surrounding counties, Mr. Popham has facilitated real estate closings in all fifty U.S. States and abroad. As the Operations Manager for Bluegrass Land Title, he is now responsible for overseeing the daily workflow of our staff to ensure that all transactions are handled with utmost efficiency. Mr. Popham applies his knowledge and experience to make the closing process easy, organized and pleasant for all of those he works with.


Carol Breth, Administrative Assistant

Carol is the smiling face greeting you at Bluegrass Land Title. She obtained a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Business Administration from Wilmington College and an Associates of Science Degree in Business Studies from Northern Kentucky University. As Administrative Assistant, Carol ensures everything runs smoothly after your closing, making certain all funds are correctly disbursed, and all documents make it into the right hands. Carol does a little bit of everything at Bluegrass Land Title, from completing title searches to preparing Title Commitments, and will always greet you with a smile!


Alice Stringfellow, Escrow Officer

A Louisville native and now a resident of Central Kentucky, Alice has 14 years of experience in the title industry. Alice has handled closings in Kentucky and beyond, as her experience extends to Indiana, Tennessee and Florida. In her capacity as an escrow officer for Bluegrass Land Title, Alice utilizes her extensive experience and knowledge of the interworkings of the industry on a daily basis in providing efficient service with a smile to each and every one of her clients. Alice resides in Jessamine County with her husband, Jeff, precious daughter Eleanor, and their two beagles, Amos and Lola. Above all else, Alice prioritizes spending time with family and friends, and also enjoys outdoor recreation, traveling and listening to live music.


Lisa Sageser, Escrow Officer

Lisa has nearly 14 years of experience working in the mortgage and title industry. Through her experience as an Escrow Assistant combined with her past experience working as a mortgage loan officer and processor, Lisa has acquired an extensive understanding of all aspects of the real estate transaction. This knowledge has rendered Lisa well-equipped to appreciate the unique needs of realtors, loan officers, buyer and sellers, and provide superior service to all parties involved in a real estate transaction. Lisa understands that speed, accuracy, and competency are essential components in each and every real estate closing.


Tammy Deborde, Escrow Officer

A native of Glasgow, Kentucky, Tammy has 23 years of experience working in the mortgage lending and title industry. This combined experience in lending and title has proven invaluable time and again throughout her career. Tammy’s thorough understanding of even the most complex real estate transaction is what makes her such an indispensable asset to our team at Bluegrass Land Title. Her clients will be the first to praise Tammy for her candid demeanor and willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done. Outside of the office, she is an avid follower of University of Kentucky athletics, and a sports fanatic in general. Tammy resides in Richmond with her husband Todd, daughter Leah, along with their four horses, four cats and two beagles. As a family, Tammy, Todd and Leah enjoy attending sporting events, spending time outdoors and tending to their barnyard of animals.


Karen L. Lucas

Karen has 26 years of experience in the title industry. Karen has handled closings in Kentucky, as well as Indiana. Karen uses her extensive experience and knowledge as a title examiner on a daily basis. Karen prides herself in providing a thorough and efficient title search. Karen also takes pride in making customer service a priority and has a willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done. Karen resides in Big Spring with her husband, Roger. They have two sons and four grandsons, which are her pride and joy. She attends Big Spring United Methodist Church. Outside of work, Karen loves to spend time with her family and travel.


Ann Randall

Ann joined the Bluegrass Land Title staff in 2014 and has been an integral part of the team ever since. With an associate degree in Paralegal Studies from Eastern Kentucky University, Ann began her career in the real estate/title industry working for Sword, Floyd & Moody, PLLC. There she accumulated 13 years of escrow processing and title examination experience in the fields of both residential and commercial real estate. Today, Ann is in charge of the title department at Bluegrass Land Title and handles escrow services on commercial transactions. She resides in Richmond with Jeff, her husband of 17 years. 


Genevieve Burton

Genevieve has quickly become a valued and trusted member of the staff at Bluegrass Land Title since joining as an escrow officer in 2015. After graduating Cum Laude from Sullivan University with an associate degree in Paralegal Studies, Genevieve put her education to work as a paralegal in Central Kentucky. Through her 16+ years of experience working for various law firms and title companies, Genevieve has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the inner workings of the title industry. Genevieve resides in Nicholasville with her husband, Greg, and is a proud member of the Jessamine County Trabue Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. 


Jan Salmons

A native of Grayson, Kentucky, Jan Salmons obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration from Eastern Kentucky University with an emphasis in Real Estate. Jan’s experience in the real estate industry spans 22 years, and her comprehensive knowledge of its complexities stems from her time working on all aspects of residential and commercial transactions. In addition to holding the position of title escrow officer, Jan has worked as a real estate agent, mortgage loan processor, commercial and construction loan legal assistant. As an Escrow Officer at Bluegrass Land Title, Jan utilizes this extensive experience and knowledge of the industry on a daily basis in providing focused, dedicated and efficient service with a smile to each and every one of her clients. Above all else, Jan prioritizes spending time with family, and also enjoys traveling, reading, and being an active member of Cornerstone Christian Church. Jan resides in Winchester with her husband and daughter.


Bryan Brown

Bryan is a native of Fountain City, Indiana. He attended Ball State University and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education. His passion for music and love for his country prompted Bryan to enlist in the U.S. Army as a musician in the 113th Army Band at Fort Knox. After a transfer to the Army Reserve, and promotion to Staff Sergeant, Bryan earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Prior to joining the Bluegrass Land Title team, he served as an Assistant Vice President for a local bank as a Special Assets Officer, Branch Manager, and Consumer Loan Officer. His nine years of experience in accounting, finance, and compliance have proved invaluable in his position at Bluegrass Land Title where he ensures that the company remains in compliance with the ever changing regulatory landscape that governs the real estate and title insurance industry. Bryan, and his wife Laura reside in Woodford County with their cats George and Princess, and dog Captain Jack Sparrow. They attend St. Leo’s Catholic Church and enjoy spending time with family, travelling and dining out.


Rhonda Sowder

A native and current resident of Richmond, Kentucky, Rhonda works as a paralegal and title examiner for Bluegrass Land Title. After graduating Cum Laude from Sullivan University with a degree in Paralegal Studies in 2001, she spent the following decade working for several prominent law firms in Central Kentucky. As a 14 year veteran of the title industry, Rhonda has amassed a broad range of paralegal experience working in the areas of title examination, foreclosure proceedings and commercial loan processing, among others. Rhonda has quickly become an invaluable member of the Bluegrass Land Title staff, as we depend on her tremendous experience and expertise to ensure that we provide the superior service that our clients have come to expect.


Cagney Meek

A lifelong resident of Lexington and graduate of Morehead State University with a Bachelor Degree in Communication and Business Marketing, Cagney joined Bluegrass Land Title in 2016. For the past six years, Cagney has been working in the real estate finance industry. This valuable experience has rendered her particularly well equipped to succeed in her current position as an Escrow Assistant. In this capacity, Cagney communicates with lenders and realtors to ensure that all aspects of the closing process occur smoothly from the initial title order entry to the post closing disbursement of funds and issuance of title insurance policy. Cagney approaches her job with the same enthusiasm that she exudes when doing the things she loves most – walking her dogs, Maverick and Tank, and bicycle riding with her husband, Tyler.

Rachel Sanders

Rachel moved to Kentucky from Florida in 2007. She graduated Cum Laude from Sullivan University in 2014 with an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies. For the past 7 years, she has worked in the medical field for a family practice office in Cynthiana. She also lived in Las Vegas for four years where she worked as an Executive Assistant to the Vice President for a pharmaceutical company. Rachel currently resides in Cynthiana with her son, Brandon, and their dog, Milo, and 2 cats. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and is an avid NHL fan. She is also involved with her son’s Shao-Lin group and music activities outside of school.


Mandy Sallee

Mandy had nearly 16 years of experience working in the financial and mortgage lending industries before joining the Bluegrass Land Title team in June 2016. Using her extensive experience in mortgage lending and her gained knowledge of the title industry, Mandy has acquired an understanding of the complete real estate transaction. As an Assistant Escrow Officer, Mandy is focused and dedicated to provide the best customer service to all parties involved from the very beginning of the process to the end. Mandy resides in Cecilia with her son. In her spare time, Mandy loves to travel, spend time with her family and read.


Rebecca Craig

Rebecca is a native of Irvington, Kentucky.  She is a graduate of McKendree University in Radcliff, KY with a Bachelors of Business Administration.  She began her career in the banking industry and quickly worked her way into lending. She has seven years banking experience, five of which were commercial and residential lending.  She came to Bluegrass Land Title in April of 2017 as an Escrow Assistant. She is devoted to providing the greatest possible service to all who are involved in each real-estate transaction.  She still resides in Breckinridge County with her husband, Jeremy, and their daughter, Maci.  In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and her dogs. 


Tracey Cox, Escrow Officer

An Elizabethtown native, Tracey has 17 years experience in the title industry. Tracey is a graduate of Western Kentucky University with a BA in marketing and advertising. As an Escrow Officer, Tracey processes loan paperwork and closes real estate transactions while providing efficient customer service to both lenders, realtors and buyers and sellers. It is Tracey’s goal that each customer has a stress free closing experience as they purchase their dream home. It is exciting to see a customer purchase their first home and talk about their hopes and dreams for the home at closing. Tracey and her husband Fred have a blended family of five children and are members of First Christian Church. Tracey enjoys gardening, cooking and reading.


Kylee Smith

Kylee is originally from a small town in New York. Kylee attended Bryant and Stratton College where she obtained a Bachelors of Business Administration degree in General Management. Her career began as a lender, which eventually turned into mortgage lending. She joined the Bluegrass Land Title Team in May of 2015. Through her experience Kylee understands the importance of communication and efficiency in real estate transactions. Kylee and her family now reside in Meade County, where they now call home. In her spare time, she loves to be with her family and friends, and travel.


Linda Heater, Shipping & Recording Clerk

An Elizabethtown resident, Linda has several years’ experience  in banking and insurance underwriting.  As the shipping and recording clerk it is Linda’s responsibility to ship our loan packets out to the lender and get the deeds and mortgages recorded in a timely manner.  In addition to shipping and recording duties she also is responsible our banking deposits.  Our goal is to have the highest degree of customer service with making  each person that comes into our office  feel  they are our number one priority.  Linda is a widow and attends Mt. Zion Baptist Church.  Linda enjoys reading , cooking, sewing and especially spending time with her nieces, nephews and friends.
